Tumbler Care 101: How to Properly Clean & Sanitize Your Tumbler

Hey folks! I felt like there's been a lot of buzz lately about the tumbler trend. It's something that's definitely catching on because they're so fun, and the creative options are truly limitless! But what happens once you've used it a few times, and it's time to get them cleaned up?

Especially with dark drinks like coffee or cocoa, they can be tricky to properly clean, sanitize, dry out and store for your next use. So I created this short little video that walks you through the steps to properly care for your tumbler so that it will last you for years to come.

Washing your tumbler properly is a key step in making sure you and your family stay healthy while using it. Make sure to wash your straw daily, and your lid and seal at least once a week.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me, and I'll be happy to help answer them. Check out the video below!

Step 1: Remove the lid and straw from your tumbler. Wash the tumbler by hand in hot soapy water and let air dry.

Step 2: Remove the rubber seal from your tumbler lid.

Step 3: Wash the rubber seal and the lid with hot soapy water. Get your finger inside the ridge where the rubber seal sat and make sure to clean it out really well.

Step 4: Clean your straw with the included straw cleaner tool by adding soap and water to it and inserting it on one end and rubbing back and forth. Rinse with clear water and let dry.

Step 5: Once your lid and seal are completely dry (usually overnight is long enough) replace the seal by putting the flat end against the ridge in the lid, and stretching until the whole seal is in place. Make sure that the ridge part is facing out so it will grip your tumbler and create a good seal.

Step 6: Fill your tumbler with you favorite drink, repalce the lid and straw and enjoy!
